Our Vision

The vision of Credence Church is to develop people from all walks of life to walk out their God-given potential in their area of gifting. Furthermore, the mandate is to discover, develop, and deploy leaders into their sphere of influence by integrating these five major components: Worship, Prayer, Teaching, Fellowship, and Evangelism.

01

WORSHIP:

We believe that every person has been created to worship, so the question is not if we will worship but rather who we choose to worship. We at Destiny worship the Lord God, the true and living God without hesitation or reservation. The Bible declares, “Thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shall thou serve” (Matthew 4:10; Matthew 22: 37-38).

02

Prayer:

We know and are convinced that prayer changes things. When we pray we know that God hears us and we believe that we receive what we pray for (Mark 11: 23-25). The Bible declares, “Call to unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3; I John 5:14).

03

TEACHING:

We believe that the Word of God is the final authority. Moreover, when the Word is preached, it brings release to the captives, sight to the blind, deliverance to the oppressed, and wholeness to the poor (Luke 4:18; John 1:1-5).

04

FELLOWSHIP:

We acknowledge that the fellowship of the saints is essential for healthy Christian growth. The Bible declares, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship…. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people” (Acts 2: 41-47, Acts 20:7).

05

EVANGELISM:

We believe in winning the world for Jesus. The Bible declares, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover” (Mark 16:15-19, Matthew 28:19).
